Since 2004 in France, the general objective of the LEA programme has been to study the determinants (medical, genetic, socioeconomic, behavioural and environmental) of the medium and long-term outcome of patients treated for haematological malignancies in childhood after 1980.

This outcome is studied in the broadest sense, including health status, quality of life and social integration.

The LEA programme is coordinated by Prof. Pascal Auquier and Prof. Gérard Michel.
